Summertime

We had a lot of fun playing in the water this summer on the few days that were warm enough! Cori took a couple sessions of swim lessons and she learned a lot. By the end she was able to go all the way down to the bottom of the pool with a little help to pick up a toy, blow bubbles, put her face in the water, and kick across the pool with a little board. And she's an expert at the crab crawl (holding onto the wall and scooting along).

Next summer she'll be able to do the big girl swim lessons, meaning I don't have to go in the water with her. Woo hoo!

We took Izzy outside one day to lay in the sprinkler. She had a lot of fun! And is she not wearing the cutest swimsuit?! I would wear that suit if it came in my size.

We even took Izzy on an adventure to the big pool! This was the first time we have taken her in a real swimming pool since before she had her trach. We were a little scared but it worked out perfectly and she LOVED it!

Cori showing daddy her skills.

Don't you love her high school musical sun glasses?

Swimming with her beloved daisy doll.

It was awesome taking both of my kids swimming at the pool. Usually I can only take Cori and I spend a lot of the time sitting there missing Izzy and thinking about how much fun she would have if she could go with us. It was a special day for me and her!

Dott Dott

This was our little bugg puppy Dott (named after dot com from 30 rock). She was half our dog, half my sister's dog but she lived with us for about 3 months before she got stung by a bee and died 2 weeks ago. She was really allergic. Poor thing.
Her and Cori were best buds. Cori was pretty mean to her sometimes but Dott loved her the most anyways. They would entertain each other outside, playing in the water and the dirt and with chalk and balls. They were pretty cute together. Cori is now obsessed with pugs and calls every one she sees Dott Dott. She has about 4 stuffed Dott Dott doggies. Luckily Cori is little and she still thinks Dott is at the the doctor getting stickers.

She was kind of a stubborn little pain in the butt, but she was also a sweetie and we miss her. Just look at the little face with those big bug eyes! All dogs go to heaven right?

Brad's Wedding

My little brother got married last week! Craziness. I will always see him as a 10 year old! It was a beautiful wedding and we love KK. We are so happy to have her in our family, and maybe the girls will get some new cousins ;)
Doesn't my mom look so pretty?! She was complaining for weeks that we were going to make her wear that beautiful dress (she wanted to wear black).

My sister, Niki. A beautiful brides maid.

A shot for the hubby. We missed him.

The happy couple!

Another one for the hubby, I don't get dressed up very often.

Naughty.....I mean cute lil' flower girl.

Izzy was the ring bearer.

Girls

Just a couple cute pics of my beautiful girls.

Date Night at Disney and Going Home

Grandma and Aunt Niki rode in the limo with us on the way home while dad drove the van with all of our stuff. Aren't they cute in their matching shirts?!
Izzy likes the limo so she wasn't too sad to leave, until we got home.

Our ride!

The night before we went home Francisco and I put the girls to bed and went back to Disney to go on all the big kid rides. We had a lot of fun, it's been a while since we did anything together besides go grocery shopping or to a movie.
My sis-in-law Perla with her turkey leg! Perla, her fiance, and his little sister met up with us at CA adventure and went out with us that night.

On Mickey's Fun Wheel, they were a little rowdy!

Disney Day 5

We spent day 5 at CA Adventures. We went to the Alladin show which was awesome.

Monsters Inc. ride

This lady was funny (can't remember her name) but she would talk to us as we went past her. She told Izzy " I like your glasses " in her signature voice. It was funny.

Then we went to Ariel's Grotto for lunch. It was pretty dang expensive but Izzy loved the princesses so that's all that matters!

Izzy's fav ride! The 3D Toy Story ride. It was craziness but she loved it.
