Swimming and Playing

The girls swimming with Uncle Jose and Xzavier
Isabel loves sitting in the pool. It is probably one of her favorite things to do. She kicks her legs and moves her arms up and down like she is swimming. Unfortunately, it is so hot in Yuma that swimming doesn't even keep you cool. We have to wait until the sun starts going down and dump a bucket of ice in the water because it comes out of the hose hot!
Cori is ok with swimming as long as we don't put her on her back. She will freak out. Mostly she just likes to drink the water!
Xzavier and Coralie. I love this pic. They had so much fun playing together....
and trying to eat each other!

4th of July

For the 4th of July Francisco's older brother Jose, his wife, Amanda, their son Xzavier, and Francisco's younger brother, Walter, came down to Yuma to visit. They live in Sierra Vista so it's always fun when we can all get together. The girls and I have only seen Xzavier one other time since he was born. He is such a cutie, we loved being able to spend time with him. He is our only nephew and the girls' only cousin. Can you believe he is only a couple weeks younger than Coralie! She is a little butterball!

Me and the babies!
You can't see it in the picture but Isabel is wearing a cute little skirt that matches Cori's dress.
My brother in law, Walter.
Poor Isabel doesn't get out of the house much so she had a blast just hanging out outside and listening to the band playing 80's music while we waited for the fireworks to start.
Amanda, Jose, and Xzavier. Aren't they cute!

The babies fell asleep but woke up in time for the fireworks, although I don't think Cori even noticed them . She was too busy looking around at everything else.
We really wanted Izzy to see the fireworks because she didn't get to go the last two years so she has never seen any! Her first 4th of July she was in the hospital and last year we were afraid it would be too hot for her. Well, the fireworks didn't start until 10 and at about 9:55 Isabel started falling asleep! We tried to keep her awake and I think she saw a few of the fireworks. Maybe she'll do better next year!
