Pink Kitty and Spider Witch

How cute are these two?!? We had a really fun Halloween. The girls were so excited this year to go trick-or-treating. Cori really wanted to be a pink kitty, luckily she was happy with the little pink bows on this costume. And Izzy was a spider witch. She loved being a little bit spooky. But really, how scarey can she be when she's so dang cute?
Thanks for going with us Aunt Kiki!

Izzy's spider webs and little black spiders all over her wheelchair. Scarey!

Check out these little witch stockings! By far my favorite part of Halloween this year! I just love them on those skinny little legs!

What a cute little kitty, actually scaredy cat would be a good name for her. She got scared of "a scarey halloween house" a bat that was "gonna get me" and a " ghosty ghost" that answered the door. Silly girl.

Happy Halloween!

October Fun

We had a lot of fun in October getting ready for Halloween. The girls were in love with painting little pumpkins. Cori loved her little pumpkins so much that she would sleep with them, have tea parties with them, color with them....you get the idea. She cried pretty hard when it was time to throw them away a few days ago. Izzy choose purple for this one which kind of surprised me. I though she would pick orange (it was a white pumpkin). She is usually very sophisticated for an almost 5 year old (!!!) when it comes to coloring or painting. She will almost always pick the color that the thing she is coloring actually is (like grey for an elephant, blue for the sky). She is so stinking smart. But sometimes she just likes to be silly and choose random colors.
Cori's masterpiece.

The finished products. They turned out so cute!

Cori wanted them to have ghost faces, which is funny because she has been scared of ghosts lately. She won't even go in our bathroom by herself because "there's gonna be a ghost in there!". But she's always talking about them and wanting to watch ghost shows.
Strange little girl.

We went to SeaWorld for one of their Halloween Spooktacular nights and both girls won these huge dolphins playing a silly game.

And we took a picture with a cute flamingo for Aunt KiKi!

We also made some Jack-o-Lanterns. The girls were no help at all! All they did was pick out the designs. Izzy gave me dirty looks when I had her touch some of the insides and Cori wouldn't even come close! She said it was too yucky. I need a kid that likes to get dirty!

A clown and a "pumpkin face".

Izzy picked the clown.

Cori finally came around when I was finished!

Fun times!

Cuddles

with Uncle B-Rad! Izzy loved it, she cried when she had to go lay back down :( Can you believe how huge this girl is getting? She is the tallest girl!
The girls both love their Uncle B-Rad so much!

A Better Pumpkin Patch

While we were in Arizona we were brave enough to try out another pumpkin patch, and guess what? No flies!Cori loved the cow train.
Izzy checking out the ducks.

Me and my girls.
Uncle Brad, Grandma, Izzy, Cori, Aunt KK, and Aunt KiKi

Having fun in the hay maze!

I love this pic of Izzy, so funny!

Checking out the cute little piggies!

We love Uncle Bradley!
We saw goats and a donkey.

We tried out the corn maze but it was a little too bumpy for Isabel.

We love Aunt KK too!
And Aunt KiKi!
Cori couldn't wait to go in the bouncy castle.
This place was so cute and the girls loved all the little farm animals. Next year we'll skip the pumpkin patch in san diego and just head to AZ! The weather was beautiful too.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we drove out to the pumpkin patch in Lakeside. I've been wanting to take the girls for a couple of weeks now, but it was kind of a bust. It was a cute place but it was swarming with flies! Seriously, soooo many flies. If we stopped walking for a second we would be covered. It was disgusting. So we walked around really quick, smiled for a couple of pictures, then left. Cori was the only one that wanted to stay!Learning how to milk a cow and petting a calf. Am I the only one that thinks baby cows are so cute? I would like one for a pet, I think they're so adorable!

This little guy really liked Izzy's wheelchair. He was trying to nibble at it so we had to leave and he tried to follow us out the gate.

See, nibbling at her pillows. But I still think he was cute.

Queen of the hay stack.

More cows, these ones were a little less nibbly.

Time to pick out a pumpkin!

Cori was looking for the perfect pumpkin. She would pick up one after the other and say "too heavy" "too big" "too little" "this one has a good stem" "this one is too dirty". It was so funny. She finally found one she liked.

Izzy's pumpkin.

Time to go! We only took about 30 flies home with us in the van. I don't think we'll be back next year.
